Ashton-under-Hill Woods is a beautiful, peaceful woodland walk that feels like a proper little adventure. There are natural paths to explore and plenty of opportunities for children to wander, investigate and enjoy being outdoors. The terrain isn’t suitable for buggies, so it’s best for children happy to walk or younger ones in a carrier. Pack wellies if it’s been wet and expect muddy feet!

- Park on Elmley Road opposite Wood Land, then walk up Wood Land to reach the woods. Leave the pram as the paths aren't pram friendly, so this one is for confident walkers or little ones in a carrier.
