Little Day Out is operated by Christina Murphy, a UK sole trader trading as Little Day Out. Little Day Out is a community website for discovering and sharing family days-out recommendations. You can contact us at hello@littledayout.co.uk.

By using the website, creating an account or submitting content, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or contribute content.

Accounts and community contribution features are for people aged 18 or over. When registering, you must confirm that you are 18 or over. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity carried out through your account.

Recommendations, reviews, tips, listing updates, claim information and other contributions must be genuine and provided in good faith. Reviews should reflect your real experience and honest opinion.

You must not knowingly submit content that is:

• false, misleading or presented as a personal experience when it is not;
• abusive, threatening, discriminatory, obscene or otherwise inappropriate;
• unlawful, fraudulent or likely to encourage unlawful activity;
• infringing someone else’s copyright, privacy or other rights;
• promotional or spam presented as an independent recommendation or review; or
• designed to compromise the website, another account or another user.

Do not include personal information about another person unless you have a proper reason and their permission to share it.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share it. For photographs, this means you must have taken the photograph or have permission from its owner, and you should have appropriate permission where identifiable people, including children, appear.

By submitting content, you give Little Day Out a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format, adapt for presentation and use that content as reasonably needed to operate, moderate and promote Little Day Out. This includes using a submitted photograph as a listing’s main image and allowing our service providers to process the content for those purposes. You still own your content and may also use it elsewhere.

Submissions may be reviewed before or after publication. We may edit, reject, unpublish or remove content where reasonably necessary, including where it is inaccurate, unsuitable, unlawful, infringes rights, creates a privacy or safety concern, or breaches these terms. We may make minor presentation or factual corrections while preserving the substance of a genuine contribution.

You can use the “Report this content” option on a listing or review to tell us about incorrect information, inappropriate content, an image or privacy concern, a copyright or ownership concern, or another issue.

Listings, reviews and recommendations are community-generated and are a helpful guide, not a guarantee. Venues and contributors are independent of Little Day Out, and details can change after publication.

Before travelling, please check important information directly with the venue or provider where appropriate. This may include opening hours, prices, availability, accessibility, age suitability, facilities, booking requirements, weather or local conditions, and any safety considerations relevant to your family.

Parents and carers remain responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable and supervising children appropriately.

Members currently receive 100 Little Day Out points when a recommendation they submitted is approved. Points are promotional community-participation points. They cannot currently be redeemed, exchanged for cash or transferred, and they do not have a cash value.

Rewards and redemption have not yet launched. We may introduce, change or withdraw ways to earn points or use rewards in future. We will provide appropriate information when a change affects members. Nothing in these terms promises a particular reward, voucher or value.

We may restrict, suspend or remove an account or contribution where reasonably necessary to address misuse, abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, a serious breach or repeated breaches of these terms, or a risk to users, venues or the service. We will act proportionately and, where appropriate, may ask for an explanation or give an opportunity to correct the issue.

You can delete your account through My Account. Personal account information is deleted as explained in our Privacy policy. Approved community contributions may remain where useful to the directory, but they will be detached from your account and anonymised as appropriate. Contact us if you also want particular content considered for removal.

We aim to keep Little Day Out useful and available, but we cannot promise that every listing will always be accurate or that the website will always be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for how you use information from the website and for arrangements you make with a venue or provider.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your rights under consumer law. Otherwise, Little Day Out is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for the acts, omissions or services of independent venues and providers.

We may update these terms when the service or law changes. The latest version will appear on this page with its updated date. If a change materially affects registered members, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to their attention.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you keep any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live and may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
